Simulation tools for solids processes — at every scale, from individual particles to entire plants.

Flowsheet and particle simulation for solids processes

DyssolTEC develops simulation software for solids and particulate processes. Our tools let process engineers model dynamic solids processes end to end, track changing particle size, moisture, and composition, and test plant designs before they are built, from a single particle up to a complete production line.

Macroscale

Macroscale flowsheet simulation

DyssolPro is a dynamic flowsheet simulator for solids production. It connects unit operations such as dryers, granulators, mills, and classifiers into a single particle-aware flowsheet, so you can run sensitivity studies, optimise operating points, and understand a process before committing capital. It builds on the open-source Dyssol core and adds enterprise support, custom unit models, and validated workflows.

Microscale

Microscale particle simulation

MUSEN is our open-source DEM framework. It resolves the motion and contacts of millions of individual particles on the GPU, which is how teams study mixing, breakage, and microscale effects that bulk models cannot capture. Used with DyssolPro, the two scales give a complete picture of how particles behave inside real equipment.

Engineering partnership

Particle process engineering, beyond the software

We build custom models and machine implementations into your flowsheets, deploy simplified on-premise apps for operators, and use data engineering and machine learning to create data-driven and hybrid models that pair physics with data. Alongside this we support scale-up and debottlenecking and train engineers, researchers, and operators across pharma, chemicals, food, and mining.

Industries we serve

Trusted across particle-driven industries, where particle behaviour drives quality and yield.

Dyssol is an attractive tool for our solids production processes to gain a deeper understanding and to push our operations to their limits. With DyssolTEC, we have found a strong partner for future cooperation.
